Pure Religion in Action | Widows Homes Ministry

James 1:27 reminds us that “pure and undefiled religion before God” is to care for widows in their time of need. This video highlights the powerful work of the Widows Homes Ministry—providing safe, dignified housing at no cost to widows who need it most.

The Widows Homes Ministry is an outreach of Crossroad Bible Church in Fort Valley, Georgia, under the faithful leadership of Pastor Chet Cooper. Their ministry is a beautiful example of what it looks like to live out God’s Word through compassion, obedience, and sacrificial love.

At The Barnabas Project, our heart is to come alongside ministries like this—encouraging, strengthening, and helping tell the stories of God’s work around the world. Through faith and generosity, lives are being restored and hope is being renewed—one home at a time. This video also offers a glimpse of future land where additional Widows Homes will be built to serve even more women in the years ahead.
